NACAS Names Kim Wilbur as Director of Education & Certification

Charlottesville, VA – NACAS, the largest auxiliary services support organization serving higher education, announced today they have hired a Director of Education & Certification. Their new staff member, Kim Wilbur, joined the association on May 9, 2012.

“Kim Wilbur will be a real asset as Director of Education & Certification for NACAS,” said association CEO Dr. Bob Hassmiller, “She brings a deep understanding of higher education and the professional development needs of our members. We’re very excited that she chose NACAS for the next step in her career.”

Before joining NACAS, Kim worked as the Associate Director of Admissions at Lynchburg College. She has more than 8 years experience in higher education, professional development, and event planning. Kim will be responsible for overseeing the Association’s professional development programs, the CASP certification program, and the educational sessions at the NACAS Annual Conference.

“Kim Wilbur is a great addition to the NACAS staff and will further strengthen our educational programs, “ said NACAS President Keith Chapman.

NACAS Adds a New Position to the National Office Staff

NACAS is thrilled to announce that Caleb Welty has joined the NACAS National Office as the Director of Marketing and Technology. This is a new position that has been added at NACAS. Caleb joins NACAS from his most recent position of Marketing Information Analyst with the University of Virginia Alumni Association. Congratulations and welcome to Caleb!

Anne Munson Taking on New Position with the Association for Institutional Research

NACAS is sad to lose her, but excited to announce that Anne Munson, Director of Certification, Education and Membership, is moving to Tallahassee FL to take on the position of Senior Director of Education for fellow CHEMA member the Association of Institutional Research. Good luck to Anne!

NACAS Mourns the Passing of Bob Looney

Our friend and colleague Bob Looney passed away September 14, 2011, after a lengthy illness. From 1980 until his retirement he served in many capacities with the Mac-Gray Company of Cambridge, providing laundry services to colleges and universities.
